Emma joined Castlehill HA in November 2000 as a Housing Officer and was promoted to Castlehill Housing Trust Manager at the end of 2015. She started her housing career with Newcastle City Council in 1997 following graduation and has pursued a career in the housing management field since. Emma is a member of the Chartered Institute of Housing and is also a qualified Counsellor. Her current role involves managing the Castlehill Housing Trust properties (CHT is a subsidiary company of CHA), which includes ensuring that all statutory requirements and current legislation relevant to all operations of the Trust are adhered to. Emma enjoys the breadth of work that the job entails, working closely with local authorities and Care Providers to ensure our Care Homes, HMO’s and individual tenancies are places where our customers would choose to live, and has a positive impact on their wellbeing. Castlehill Housing Trust has recently changed its name and rebranded and Emma is excited about the challenges that lie ahead, with alterations to some of our current properties to meet the evolving needs of our client group, and increasing our accommodation portfolio in the coming years.
