Financial support for working families

Could you be entitled to further financial help as we move out of the pandemic?

If you are part of a working family, receiving tax credits then you could be. The government is giving eligible families a one-off payment of £500 which is designed to provide extra support after the temporary increase in working tax credit ends on April 5th.

You may be eligible for the £500 if you have been receiving, working tax credit or child tax credit, and were eligible for working tax credit but you did not get a payment because your income is too high. HMRC will be in touch with you if you are entitled to this credit, and the money will be paid directly to your bank account. It will not affect any other payments.

Castlehill works hard to ensure that information on the Benefits available is published every two weeks on its website. Please check the Benefits section to see if there are any other payments you may be entitled to.
