The Key Project is a housing support service for tenants. Our aim is to help you sustain your tenancy , or “keep the key” by helping you tackle any risk that may threaten your tenancy.
Housing support from the Key Project may be offered at the start of your tenancy, especially if it is your first time being responsible for a tenancy or you are experiencing financial hardship.
Sometimes people experience difficulties during their tenancy, and Key Project can help here too. Our support workers can offer assistance with:
|Benefits advice||Help with furnishing your property|
|Help with form filling||Help with getting to appointments|
|Education and training||Help with phone calls|
|Accessing community resources||Accessing trusts/other funding agencies|
|Energy supply queries e.g. gas, electricity||Family and relationships|
|Advice and information||Letter writing|
|Budgeting help||Housing options|
|Mental health difficulties||Signposting|
|Drugs and alcohol-related issues||Housing and debt advice|
|Accessing healthcare resources||Home visits|

We’ve created a handbook with the help of tenants, for tenants. It has been designed as a guide to refer to at the start, during and at the end of your tenancy.
We have over 1900 properties across North East Scotland, including general needs, amenity, sheltered, very sheltered, mid-market rent and shared ownership.
