Dyce is a suburb of Aberdeen about six miles northwest of the city, best known for being the location of the city’s airport.
Dyce has many services and facilities and has both bus and train links to Aberdeen and beyond.
Victoria Grange consists of 35 one-bedroom flats and 4 two-bedroom flats. The scheme includes a restaurant where daily meals are available. Tenants can take part in activity groups and events in the resource centre. There are a residents’ lounge, laundry and guest bedrooms where relatives or friends can stay, which can be booked through the Castlehill main office.
All properties have central heating throughout supplied from a central gas boiler and there is lift access to all floors. There is a scheme manager call system and fire alarm system throughout the scheme and a door entry system at the main entrance provides security.
One of a team of housing support workers is on duty at Victoria Grange 24 hours each day, including ‘sleepover’ in the staff accommodation provided. The role of these staff is to provide appropriate support to tenants and to work along with other individuals and agencies to respond to tenant needs. The support provider is Carewatch Grampian.
