Very Sheltered Housing

Very sheltered housing offers an alternative option to residential care for older people who are no longer able to live independently in their own homes,  or for whom sheltered housing is not suitable.

Prospective tenants need a level of personal care and housing support but not necessarily the level of support a care home offers. Very sheltered housing is similar to sheltered housing with additional facilities including the provision of a daily meal service.  The housing support service is enhanced with 24-hour staffing within the building. Packages of care and support are provided for tenants as they need it, achieved through partnership working with care management services provided by the local authority.

We have four very sheltered schemes in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.

Abbey Court, Sutherland Drive, Mintlaw, AB42 5GZ

Craigielea Gardens, Craigton Road, Mannofield, Aberdeen, AB15 7XW

Dalvenie Gardens, Raemoir Lane, Banchory, AB31 5QW

Victoria Grange, Victoria Street, Dyce, Aberdeen, AB21 7BG
