Castlehill’s Care and Repair department will be taking part in the Empower Aberdeen event which coincides with the Challenge Poverty Week.
This free one day even in the Music Hall in Aberdeen brings together over forty non-profit organisations offering help and advice on a wide variety of topics all designed to help with topics covering energy, housing, finances, and foodbanks. Care and Repair will be giving a presentation sharing the wide range of services they offer to the elderly and infirm within Aberdeen who could benefit from the savings and advice they an offer.
Care and Repair have an expert team, who can help conduct free Benefit checks, making sure individuals are receiving all the benefits to which they are entitled. The team can also conduct Home Safety Assessments. These checks can help identify potential issues and the team can suggest solutions.
We believe Care and Repair services are the key to helping people remain safely in their own homes for as long as possible and if you live in the city, their services can be used regardless of tenure.
