The weather has changed significantly over the last few days. And we know many of our older tenants may be worried about costs. Have you checked to find out if you are eligible for Pension Credit?
It is also good to know that Pension Credit may be payable if individuals have other income, savings, or own their own home. it’s always worth checking if you’re entitled to Pension Credit, as the eligibility criteria can be complicated but as Pension Credit rates will go up by 4.1% from April 2025 it would be worth checking out. Some people in Scotland get a single payment during winter called Winter Heating Payment. Winter Heating Payment will be paid from December 2024 and will be £58.75.
