Rent letters out this week

Just a timely reminder to all Castlehill tenants that the Rent letters will be going out this week.

Tenants should be in receipt of a letter over the next week outlining Rent and Services charge changes and we would encourage you to plan for these increases which will take place on the 1st of April.

Rent will be increasing by 4.6% and tenants in receipt of Universal Credit will be responsible for letting the DWP know via their online journal for the correct amount to be paid accordingly. Those who pay their rent via Standing order must contact their bank to make the changes to their rent and service charge payment.

Tenants who pay by Direct Debit or via Housing Benefit should be aware that the increases will happen to these payments automatically and they do not have to do anything.

Rent is a priority bill, and we would encourage any tenant who is facing issues meeting their rent obligation to contact their Housing Officer as soon as possible.
