Are you a Castlehill tenant or resident?
Would you like to voice your thoughts on decisions being made that affect Castlehill’s tenants, housing and housing services?
CaRTO (formerly known as the Tenants Panel) is a friendly group of Castlehill tenants and residents who meet every 6 weeks to help shape policies, procedures and publications.
No experience is needed, all that is required is that you want to get involved and take part.
Highlights of what our tenants have been involved in include:
• How are we doing? Annual Performance Report
• Our new website
• “Know Your Landlord” event
• NETRALT (North East Tenants, Residents and Landlords Together) meetings and events
• Radio show
• Anti-social behaviour policy
• Letting standard policy
• Tenant Handbook
• Tenant Information leaflets
• Scottish Government’s consultation on the Scottish Social Housing Charter
If you would find it hard to attend meetings, there are other options available, such as conference calls, Skype and our Readers’ Panel (where you can give us your feedback via email, letter or phone).
For more information, please contact our Tenant Participation Officer Catherine Coutts on 01224 625822
We’ve created a handbook with the help of tenants, for tenants. It has been designed as a guide to refer to at the start, during and at the end of your tenancy.
We have over 1900 properties across North East Scotland, including general needs, amenity, sheltered, very sheltered, mid-market rent and shared ownership.
