Second Rent Day- a great success!
Housing staff are delighted to report that Rent Assist Day, which was held at the end of May was a great success, with one grateful tenant commenting that, “the housing officers’ advice was really helpful.”

The aim of the day – the second of its kind – was to contact as many tenants as possible to discuss ways to maximise income. Over the day a total of 76 tenants were contacted, benefits checks, utility bills were discussed, and staff continued to promote the housing perks app.
Senior Housing Officer said that ‘the housing staff really enjoyed contacting our tenants to pass on information relating to income management. It went well and we are looking forward to the next Rent Day which will take place later in the year.’
