Meet Our Committee

We have a strong Management Committee, with members committed to our objectives, especially the provision of high quality housing and support work for more vulnerable members of the community.

Our Committee has a diverse range of skills, expertise and perspective, which is essential as the work of housing associations becomes increasingly complex.  Our knowledge base has been enhanced by three of our tenants taking the opportunity to get involved at Committee level.

Following discussion at the meeting of the Management Committee on Monday 30 October 2017, the following was agreed.

Convener:           David Millar (and member of all sub-committees)

Vice Convener Janice Lyon

Our key operational sub-committees are:  Housing Management, Development and Finance, along with Audit and Personnel sub-committees covering these specialist functions.

We have a programme of review and evaluation for Committee members to ensure that their contribution to Castlehill is fully recognised and supported and to help highlight training needs that will keep them up to date with all current governance issues and requirements. The Committee review process also serves to give feedback to members on the effectiveness of their contributions and to provide a skills audit that identifies any potential weaknesses that need to be addressed.

Your Guide To Your Tenancy

We’ve created a handbook with the help of tenants, for tenants. It has been designed as a guide to refer to at the start, during and at the end of your tenancy.
