Scottish Housing Regulation

Registered Social Landlords are required to be open and transparent about our work and performance and we must provide tenants and service users effective ways to provide feedback and raise concerns.

Castlehill wants our users to have easy access to this.

This includes our Self Assurance Statement, Annual Return on Charter submission and financial returns to SHR.

There are also many useful guides which explain how the SHR works.

The Scottish Housing Regulator has published a guide for tenants and service users which explains how they regulate. You can read this here.

The Scottish Housing regulator has also made two short videos about who they are and what they do and one explaining how to raise a concern about a social landlord which should help you understand the role they play in regulating to protect the interests of tenants, people who are homeless, and others who use social landlords’ services.

Information on how to find a landlord is available here.

How to raise complaints and serious concerns to the SHR is available here.

Castlehill’s engagement plan with the Scottish Housing Regulator is available to read here.

Details of our Registered Tenants Organisation is available here.

Further information will be updated shortly – please check back.
